Workforce Inclusion Consultancy Launches at Annual Triangle Diversity Conference Beyond traditional diversity training and EEOC compliance Raleigh-Durham, NC – Inspirus Consulting Inc. and Continuum Consulting Services, LLC have teamed up to develop The Power of Inclusion, a new line of services to help organizations grow beyond the “holding pattern” of traditional diversity training and EEOC compliance fulfillment to optimizing the energy of a truly engaged workforce. Founding partners Al Sullivan of Inspirus and Wendy B. White of Continuum, along with third consulting partner Laura J. Nigro, launched their new service earlier this year at “Beyond Face Value,” the third annual Changing Faces Diversity Conference in Raleigh NC. With just one day’s notice, Al and Wendy stepped in to fill a planned workshop slot after the originally scheduled speaker suddenly cancelled. For this purpose they created “Seven Steps to Building a Sustainable Culture of Inclusion,” and co-presented it to a full room. Their session combined experiential exercises with applied learning techniques. The three partners believe that truly inclusive work cultures increase problem-solving, innovation, productivity and fiscal bottom lines, and they aim for these outcomes. Past and current clients or employers include GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Blue Cross Blue Shield, American Social Health Association, NIKE, the US Army, Shelby Energy Division, Self-Help Credit Union, First Citizens Bank, IBM, Dell Computer, Duke University, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, the Portland (Oregon) School District, The Jewish Federation of Portland, and the City of Raleigh, North Carolina.
